There are some wrong informations in the video. Hobi was a trainee for JYP and Bang PDnim was still associated with them. He took Hobi with him after founding Big Hit. Where does the information come from that Hobi wanted to be a singer? He joined BTS and at that point it was supposed to be a rap group...so it was inevitable for him to avoid rapping. Kookie went to America for like 3 weeks...not a year.

Yeah, Jungkook was not in US for a whole year, but it is well known (mentioned by BTS several times) that J-Hope was originally supposed to be a vocalist. I actually really enjoy his rapping AND singing.

Actually the thing is they did this in Korean years so really you take off about 2 years so Jungkook became a trainee 10 to 11 years old and was debuted at 13 but in Korean years you add about 2 years everyone else was also younger by about 2 years too

Not all the info is exactly right. For example, Jungkook only trained for a month in the USA. It was July-August 2012 and he wrote a blog about it around February 2013. I’m not sure whether Hobi was reacted by JYPE. I know he definitely came up to the last round of auditions, but I don’t know whether he passed and joined BH after JYPE and BH affiliations contract ended, or if he got rejected.
