Modern Operations - BNSF Fall River Division in HO Scale

Welcome back to John Parker's BNSF Fall River Division. In this video, we look at mainline operations on the layout, with a focus on the PSC (Public Service Coal) train. This is a busy railroad, and along the way there are many meets and incredible scenery that this train passes through. Thanks for watching!

I’ve watched three minutes but can tell this layout is absolutely amazing. Love how there is foreground trees and scenery. I realize it’s in reach zone but strategically placed it adds to realism.

The detail is fantastic. I thought it was real for the first 30 seconds then I did not see the railroad official move. I am in awe of the level of realism and the amount of work it takes to do such things. The sound effects on the video are also impressive.

Awesome layout. I see the train we are following has the single BNSF "Vomit Bonnet" experimental scheme, plus two SD70MACs in executive scheme in the trailing positions. Quite an awesome consist to see.

It's the pace/speed ease of movement that makes reality. At least the appearance thereof and of course the sounds that are tastefully and articulately applied. Kudos to all. I've driven working steam (believe it or not) and diesel locomotion (well retired) and I am very impressed and (virtually) taken back. Many thanks. Pete

absolutely incredible. so close to real life; vegetation, water extremely convincing. gotta say, I can't help thinking of the movie 'Beetlejuice' - I'm surely not the only person who'd like to be scaled down to 1:87 for a tour... 2:53 that scene is like an Amtrak Station in Selma NC where there a double track that's runs pass by the Station and a Single track just a few miles North from the Station

amazing layout and educational commentary -very well done -my heart beats faster at 3:35, 7:20, 7:40 with the 3 EMD SD70MACs -can't explain why think the Greinstein paint scheme is the nicest, in particular 9647 with thin red stripes

Veer well done. I really like to use of audio to bring the railroad to like. One comment though your camera angle on the large bridge makes it look like the train is climbing uphill as it goes from right to left, not descending like your narration says.

Great layout. What brand of crossing signals are used at the :50 & 1:25 mark? What brand alternating flasher is utilized? Great beamspread and realistic 'soft' transitional alternating flash. Very real. Thank you for sharing.

The signals are Tomar, and the flashing circuit is Logic Rail.
