These guys are one of the most fearsome and deadly soldiers in the world. Please check them out. Many originated in Nepal. The ladies you saw may be a mixture of many different ground crew but, India has female fighter and helicopter pilots too and ground and naval military. Just FYI, The Republic of India has both The president who is the supreme chief of all the defence forces( here the lady with the french president) and THE prime minister who is the head of the state and makes all the important decisions ( here PM modi). 2. In India, anyone can join the army, that applies to both women and men who are able bodied, they all go through the same vigorous training . There is no separate division for men or women . They both serve together.
