Thanks for sharing this! Have a dumb-ish question: Is the other side of your set up block for braided tracks?
@Area51racewayNC10 ай бұрын
It will work for both. Thanks!

Hi , what do u call the name of that aluminium plate thing u set the car up with ,set up plate ? Greetings Portsmouth England 🏴

It is called a set up block. Here is a link to one here in the US. I am sure it is available through websites on your side of the Ocean. slotcarcorner.com/collections/setup-blocks/products/st-07032-slot-car-corner

What is the reason for body and pod float? Do you lube the front axel where it contacts the adjustment grub screws?
@Area51racewayNC Жыл бұрын
This is so the chassis can flex more and improve handling. You can lube it there also as long as there is lube on the axle itself.

wouldn't the magnet add the weight you would need on that light car .. just asking
@Area51racewayNC3 ай бұрын
It is a non Magnet car, But you can add ballast in its place

Enjoyed that. Question, the Shank screws you referred to are used for the motor pod correct? Or not? I think they are the slot it CH51 screw or something like that
@Area51racewayNC Жыл бұрын
The suspension kit is for the motor pod and the part number is for the body screws i believe.

Thank you for this video, I'm trying to get my head round float; would you say the optimal amount of float for a car on a track is to keep loosening it until it starts to chatter and then do it back up just a tiny bit til it stops?
@Area51racewayNC Жыл бұрын
I would say drive it with no float and see how it drives. Then loosen the screws and compare how it drives. Do this to see what works best on your track as you loosen the screws. Experiment with the car.
