Honestly despite her sad past and self loathing issues I can not stand how snotty and pretentious she acts towards other people. Yes I get its hard to feel alone, and the fact that people struggle to understand her art and thought process is even more isolating, but the fact she lashes out at people for it makes it hard for me to be sympathetic towards her. The fact she tries to act tough in front of others makes her come off as condescending and nasty. I feel like if I existed in this world I would down right hate her, and even now knowing what I do I still don't like her as a person. As a character she's wonderfully written and she's easy to sympathize with but I just do not like her.

Honestly, I thought I wouldn't like her much going by tropes, but she ended up being one of my favourite and most relatable characters in the whole game. There is a frustration that comes with feeling like you can't be normal, and even more so when you try to embrace creativity and people don't get it, dedicated artists can be pretty emotional. And the implied romantic relationship with Zuke suggests that they had a one sided adoration, or that she let the relationship be a distraction from learning to support herself, which is reflected in her split colour design hinting that her own two halves is enough for her to thrive. Basically, like an analogy for needing feedback and approval to function, but also being bad at taking criticism due to insecurity, a common issue creatives fall into.

People tend to blame Zuke for leaving her because she was in a bad place. When...I mean, she basically lit his hair on fire. She injured him and was oblivious to his pain. No one is responsible for someone else. It's not Zuke's responsibility to 'fix' her. No one is obligated to stick around in a relationship that results in them getting hurt, just because their partner is emotionally vulnerable.
