Samal Update! The newly opened Discovery Resort and Talicud Island Hopping

We really felt compelled to return to Samal to complete our feature of this rich-attraction island. We were lucky that the sun was out when we visited and even more fortunate that we were invited by the newly opened Discovery Samal to experience the premiere resort first-hand.
From the Davao International Airport it was a 30-minute drive to the Discovery Samal Welcome Center. From there, we were brought to the island via a 5-minute speedboat ride. Really awesome to know that the property is actually very accessible, one that you can easily go to without breaking a sweat. When we got there, it was just one treat after another. With the very well-trained people in the property, the well-curated lodging and the wide array of amenities available, it's almost tempting to actually just stay in the resort the entire time. But alas, we decided to go island hopping in Talicud Island so we can honestly say we have covered the attractions in the area.

Hi Mario, you can go directly to the Davao City Welcome Center which is located the port area near the Garden Bay Restaurant. There a lot of taxis or you can arrange for an airport pick-up.
