i am glad you made a smart move, unlike other most foreign vloggers who went straight to cebu from manila,, i am glad you chose davao, enjoy and have fun.. bisaya are much nicer than people in manila. i can promise you that,, take care haha
@gabrielevergreen76992 жыл бұрын
I feel like most vloggers make the mistake of going to Samal island spontaneously which isn't the best way to enjoy it. You better go to Sta Ana port in Davao city at around 6am and book an island hopping tour (joiners possible) which takes you to the best marine spots of Samal, including Talikud beach, coral garden, clam garden, angel cove, etc. If you wanna go by barge, it is best if you booked a fancy resort, which would have great amenities like fire dancing show, infinity pool, inflatable islands, etc. And then do the famous inland tour which includes a bat cave, cliff jumping, waterfalls, etc. I do appreciate the places you visited though. I haven't been to those spots yet and it's really raw and pristine.
@SunTzuML2 жыл бұрын
This is true. Spontaneous travel in Samal is not as good as Camiguin or Siargao.
@speedingpontiacsle425 Жыл бұрын
What? flying from another continent to stay in a fancy resort, with fire dancing, infinity pool, inflatable islands? LOL!! If those thing make you happy then go for it. Jeez.

Hi there buddy, I would say you the tuktuk driver charged you a little bit more than we would've paid as a local. 'foreigner price' some would say. The more importany this is that you arrived safe (as I would expect every ride would be) Love seeing your travel videos especially there in Davao area. Cheers!

Sounds like he doesnt have much idea what prices ought to be, id be asking the price BEFORE i agree to any fare. Im not paying anymore because im white. Getting ripped off isnt my thing.

Now, you can see why the bridge is much needed. It would significantly reduce traveling costs around the island. and It would make the island develop faster. Sadly, it has been left behind even if the president was from Davao because he prioritized the infrastructure projects from other provinces of the Philippines during his term.
@anjtubzchannel1595 Жыл бұрын
Samal bridge construction is already started now. PRRD prioritize other provinces in the Philippines baka may masabi p ang mga tao dahil lugar nia kailangan mas mauna. May delikadesa lng c PRRD kya after his term Davao city is booming in infrastructures now

Thank you for mentioning that the Philippines has thousands of islands. That means there are some difficulties with transportation going from one island to another. And also, some of the foreign vloggers keep complaining about the internet/Wi-Fi. Guys' I'm tired of hearing your complaint about the Wi fi. Before you complain, do your research first about ISLANDS alright. I live here in the Carolinas but the wi-fi signal here is still lagging or sometimes nothing.

I was in Mabini last year and you couldn't find any coast that wasn't a private resort. I understand why, but it is a shame. I hope there's some natural areas on Samal as I'm going next month.
@renealcid67082 жыл бұрын
Ferry between Davao and Samal Island will be a thing of the past bc they are soon about to build a bridge which BTW, was heavily protested bc it will eventually devastate the natural beauty of the island. And yes, unfortunately you were scammed by that pedicab driver. Always, Always do not hesitate to ask a local. Interact with the locals ang you’ll be amazed at the warmth,hospitality and generosity ( even if they don’t have much)of the Filipino! Who knows? You might even be offered into a local home and toured around the island . The true beauty of the Philippines ( if you don’t know yet) are it’s people!

tweet: Howdy friendly Englishman, Jason, dear. We are not yet done with our plan in modernizing all of our communities; especially in large provinces like Davao City. How did you end up in the provinces, your suppose to stroll down Manila and in Makati City only for good looking eye catching sceneries and for tourists sightseeing spots. Have Fun! Don't eat too much Dorian, Jason. Try hot pandesal (dinner rolls) and siopao (stuffed bread) with a chilled coca-cola or with your favorite beverages. Do not get fat, it's bad for you. be blessed, Jason. Will you be spending Jesus' Birthday Celebration in Manila, dear? Have Yourself a very MERRY CHRISTMAS - 2022! be blessed.
