The dancers were really really good!! The routine wasn't overrun with pelvic thrusts and gyrations, hot drops and hair slangin' that I get sick of seeing. Great musical interpretation, tasteful and classy. Great job ladies! And of course the musicians did a great job too playing, chanting and dancing! I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED the whole of the entire performance!!

I just spoke the truth Kiki. Thwarted plans of attending the Honda BOB in ATL this year had myself, my sisters and niece discussing 'dancing dolls' just yesterday! One of them said some of the routines were just downright embarrassing, which I sadly, but wholeheartedly agreed with. Another said , "Nothing but hair and azz!" My 2 cents was some of the routines looked like tryouts for 'video hoe of the year' AND that lots of men would happily pay money/make it rain if they saw the same thing in strip clubs! Just SHAMEFUL I tell ya! I'm glad your parents were of the mindset to "keep it classy or sitcho behind down somewhere!"😁😁 I think what bothers me most is that those unsavory routines are out there for the whole world to see, with their only purpose being to make a lot of men's pants tight and to make 'us' look bad. Also, since you were a doll, please answer something I've always wondered: Who foots the bill for all those outfits and hairstyles? Personal expenses or the school's, I see it as an utter waste of money that could be/should be used for actual education. Back in the day, I was in the color guard. We, along with the majorettes, had 1 summer outfit and 1 winter outfit (we had to pay for ourselves) and that was it! Also, at my school, you HAD TO BE A MUSICIAN to be on that field! After football season, you sat in that chair and played your instrument like everybody else.

I’m going to stay away from the videos for right now because the way y’all are hyping this up is crazy 😂 the 2017 legion would do work on this band and don’t even mention years like 07 09 and so on. This wasn’t good and the trumpets don’t know their music or they just can’t play. Call a spade a spade.

James Holthoff I challenge your marching band musical aptitude. To compare to 07 and 09 the Dream Team was still intact. Now you only have 2 of the 5 original members at the helm with 65% of 2019 being freshmen. Even back in 07 and 09 the freshmen had Mr Zachary Mr Adams Mr Bethea Ms Sanders and Dr Sanford. The last of the original screamers in the trumpet section have graduated. But there are some new screamers being born. It’s just this band is so bottom heavy and mid heavy you need about 10 screamers and 40 more Dizziacs to match the sound. God be willing the section will grow larger become more mature instrumentally and there will be more players discovered in this section who can play in the stratosphere. BEHOLD! P.S. From an Alumni Dizziac My section still out plays most sections. I love my section and I will defend my section for life.

Very proud of the Legion!!! About 65 percent of the band are freshman. This young band is growing in front of our eyes! They going get better and reload once again.

My daughter wanted to go to Norfolk state be a flag girl but she decided not to after this season. She made two very good points. One she said she barley sees the band and when she does they barely play anything. And the new flag girl uniforms are hideous. Not appealing at all to young girls. She’s decided to attend Hampton instead.

And yet NSU's Silkettes will out twirl and out march Hampton's flag line any day. NOBODY has ever said, "Let's travel to Hampton to see their band." Glad your daughter is getting an education but please believe that Hampton didn't want no parts of the Legion that or any year.
