You can tell that all of the commenters are NSU fans. There's nothing wrong with that. I think NCAT took. I believe they were technically proficient while demonstrating showmanship.

Both very crisp but that bassline solo in mdfs show Goooooodddd Lawwd and I played the 1 in college

All I can say is if these lines keep being clean and playing all of the great stuff that they keep playing, MANNN DCI is going to lose an audience member. (Well ok, what I said above would be going too far. I still love DCI too, but I'm just saying these lines are great too and some are starting to blend more DCI elements in what they do too. They should!! It's like 2 for one. Cold Steel and NSU are some great drumlines in this! I think they both did great!

Jan P true. But the primary purpose of a drum is to play it. To me the winner goes to the one who does a better job at the primary purpose of the instrument. What good is a well decorated race car if best it can do is go fast enough to be in 2nd place

Both were but I really don't like the sound of NSU drumline because they don't use traditional tenor drums A&T does and it just sounds better!!!!!!!!!
