NSW government updates unclaimed money system

The New South Wales government has updated its unclaimed money system.
It is designed to reduce barriers and make it easier for people to claim funds owed to them.
That includes overpayments, refunds, dividends, unclaimed cheques, public sector superannuation and money owned by individuals who can’t be tracked down.
There is currently $638 million worth of unclaimed funds available.

I donated 12 cents to Australia! When I left for good in 2016 and withdrew my superannuation, my commonwealth bank account remained open until early this year! They sent me an email to tell me I would have lost my 12 cents. You’re welcome Australia!
