N'Sync needs to promote this aspect of their history more. This arrangement is especially difficult, even by acapella standards. Alternate chords, tons of movement, switching assignments/parts left and right, controlled head voice use, no safety net - this is legit! And they tweaked a tuning or two at the beginning, so it's reasonable to think it's genuinely live, unaided. N'Sync got a lot of stereotyping, and played into it sometimes, but this is above criticism. Musicality, baby.

People overlook that the sound engineer is really the real MVP. Acapella performances are super delicate in the fact that the person running the board needs to get each vocalist's levels/cuts/EQs on point AND mix them well together so they can sound good as NSYNC did in this classic instance. If the mix sucks ass, the sound and the performance will go accordingly, even if the vocalists are on point themselves.
