people who are in the CN CBT have stated that the ping time's have made the game a feel little clunk on the swapping between char do to how far away the servers are from the west lest the ones I have watched and they also said that its even seamed to effect the animations of chars to there is also a ton of bugs in the build atm

the switching and move delays are probably due to the game running on CN servers so ur getting like 200 - 300 ping if ur anywhere overseas. I play ToF on APAC server from europe and the ping sometimes makes it unplayable. Servers were always a problem in ToF so u should give some feedback about improving them. Game is gonna suffer if they release the game with bad servers

Cutscenes look good and the urban open world is an interesting setting, but the characters look super bland and the combat feels like something we've seen ten times over in other gachas already. Devs don't really inspire the most confidence after ToF either. I'll keep a cautious eye on it but most likely gonna be a skip for me.

The world is fine but the characters feel... Clunky? The characters animations, models and designs are so junk.. The same combat all over again with 2 buttons and swap... There's a cheap feeling to it that TOF had aswell, to the point this feels like a game that came before genshin, while genshin is the direct upgrade. These games should be improving on genshin, they shouldn't be an inferior version, I dunno

This is enough for me. First of all, that cat girl looks prefect for 5 start (subjective thing anyways). This game will be much better than others at least because of its setting. That's it. Everything else is decoration. I will legit just drive around and walk in rain for hours. If you are still earning for medieval copy pasta games of genshin you have plenty of options. If this isn't enough in your opinion just don't play it but I am sure this game will get its success. All of this is very similar to the early wuwa comments and look where they are...

Cutscenes : way too over-the-top nonsensical, way too ADHD to the point of being borderline epileptic. Combat : animations look flat, you don't feel any impact, and in general it seems completely dated, especially now that we have WuWa. Overworld looks nice though.

Overworld really is phenomenal... Problem is the characters look bland and has weird color combination to some characters. The cutscenes really do go fast which makes the pacing awkward

The fighting cutscene is trying to be ZZZ really hard, but it's not quite there, especially with overdoing impact frames, which dosen't even look as good as in ZZZ. Ingame animations looks mid, some aspects still as bad as it was in ToF. The only positive thing I saw is so called "artistic style" in narrative and visualization, feels like the game doesn't take itself seriously and cuz of that have more freedom with those gimmicky stuff.

And that's the thing, it's just that the gacha monetization affects every aspect of the game even the story and writing. That prevents them from being on par with non-gachas. The result is storylines that feel like advertisements sometimes and storylines that cater too much to fan-service and para-social connections from the players to encourage spending. WuWa hasn't done something too egregious unlike when Genshin released Shenhe without even foreshadowing her. Same with characters locked behind the gacha system thereby preventing people from enjoying the entirety of what the game could offer since these characters offer different playstyles.

I mean its using unreal engine 4/5 so I would EXPECT the cut-scenes and graphics to look good. Tbh it looks exactly the same as HSR and many other Hoyo-verse games. Ridiculous that they just literally took the assets from HSR and slam the GTA V model on it like isn't this fkin illegal? If Mihoyo knows these guys are doing this then fkin hell that is the easiest case ever I would sue by tomorrow tbh. But yeah since it is a CCP approved game, and all the gacha companies in China kinda works under the same roof in Shenzen (aka most employees of this company are either former employees of or working on a joint contract with Mihoyo) so meh, big waste of time to go to court when the CCP OWNS all these tech companies tbh. Game looks great tho BUT if you are playing HSR, Genshin and HI 3 already.... Do you also need to play this as well? Simple answer is no tbh.
