it is really bizarre that there's so little attention to this in Madden Like there are games where player count is heavily bolstered by customization/appearance stuff. Like transmog in WoW. It's huge and people will spend dozens of hours getting certain looks and appearances. It's just seems like an easy an straightforward crowd pleaser

It's far from perfect but this isn't a AAA title. There's a strong foundation for potential greatness, everyone should support this game. College and Pro franchises in a single game, that's my dream.

Fun fact: the original two Doug flutie maximum football games were made by three people While this game is going to be made by a whole team which is why everything looks to be tremendously improve which can't wait to see what they can do to improve it more where it could be in the levels of Madden quality but has gameplay factors that better than Madden

@@youngtrill9745 I've been modding Madden gameplay for years, and played the Maximum football beta. To program a complex game like football is very difficult...I know from personal experience. So from my perspective, I was very impressed at what they have done so far, with only a few developers.

I mod Madden on the discord as Snowballpudi...That issue i fixed by simply speeding up the ball velocity. I don't know why EA don't correct these issues that we as modders have to do. It baffles me.

You can throw on the move if you are not committing to the scramble button. Think espn 2k5 logic. You can opt to scramble at any time but to throw you have to exit scramble mode and then throw. The gameplay is decent but lacking because of bugs and lack of variation in animations, which the version they have has already fixed. And hey its a free game

I think for college 25 you should tell the dev team that’s it would be a cool idea to add the weather app so for example if we’re in a game and it’s sunny but in the 3 quarter it starts to rain and before games you can look at the weather to see what’s going to happened on that day but I don’t know if it would be hard to code but I think it’s a cool idea

Licensing would severely limit the main selling point of the team creator. Full PC release will have the ability to upload your own images, not just team logos but patches and all. You can make any league you want, why limit it to just one?

If a game comes out with imperfections like this I'd gladly take it over EA. Some refinement for sure, tighten up the movement and all that but overall if this was a whole game it looks like it'd be really fun.

The one thing I hope they do that would set this game above all others, since they have both college and professional, would be to simulate them both side by side. So if you're playing a college team you can watch your players get drafted then watch them play in the professional league and see how they do.

I’m ngl. If I had the choice to play this (finished product) vs any madden. I think I’m picking this. Loved backbreaker because it was unique. Unlicensed teams rosters and random generation is generally my favorite thing in games. Making a custom league would be so FUCKING FUN in this game the customization makes it feel so personal

I had similar thoughts after playing it the other day. its a solid base for a beta if they can smoothen out some animations and get rid of the logo after every play it has potential. a couple gripes I had with it was on the d line it never felt like you could do anything to get off a block and it felt like jukes spins and trucks just don't do anything. one thing I do disagree with you on is the rushing I actually got a pretty good rush offense going in the games I played

I wish I could try this out. But for some reason when I get into the game my controller is not connecting. It's a Dualshock 4. I've tried launching it from Big Picture mode in Steam, having it show as a XBOX controller, as well as try to disconnect and reconnect in the game, but nothing works. It's a shame because I'd love to try and get a feel for this game. Having both a college and professional option for Dynasty or Franchise seems incredibly impressive so I hope it works out.
