For teams the run out of the shotgun, I’ve had great luck shifting the DL toward the side they’ll probably run to, then slant them back toward the RB. So if the RB lines up to the left of the QB, most runs will take the RB to the right side of the line. Shift the DL right, then slant them left. Occasionally a counter will catch you, but you can cover QB read options if you’re a decent LB user.
