মুষ্টিমেয় মানুষের জন্য শান্তির ধর্ম ইসলাম আজ বদনামের মুখোমুখি উল্লেখ করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা বলেছেন, ধর্মের অপব্যাখ্যা দিয়ে ভাবমূর্তি নষ্ট করা হচ্ছে ইসলামের। তিনি জানান, মাদক, সন্ত্রাস ও জঙ্গিবাদ থেকে যুব সম্প্রায়কে রক্ষায় সঠিক ধর্মীয় মূল্যবোধের চর্চা করতে হবে। সকালে গণভবন থেকে ভিডিও কনফারেন্সে দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে ৫০টি মডেল মসজিদ উদ্বোধন করে এ কথা বলেন তিনি। আধুনিক এসব স্থাপনায় মানুষ ইসলামের আলোয় আলোকিত হওয়ার সুযোগ পাবেন বলেও আশা প্রকাশ করেন শেখ হাসিনা।
