@@oportillo02 I mean, they said quartz, which is basically pure silica crystals. I know that its hard to get any good yields if the purity of the silica is low, so they must be using at least 90% silica, probably closer to 95% silica in their rocks.

Yea... you know it's the same for everything right? Ever seen a coal factory being built? Or an oil rig for that matter? The benefit of solar is the "clean" production of massive amounts of energy, as opposed to having to use even more fossil fuels to keep the processes running.... if you must know
