Dr. Silva did a fantastic job of keeping the issue pressed on safety culture. Her work is something that those determined at fault really could find damning, and she stuck to her position well as an investigator first and only.

4:03:00 for the audience’s sake of understanding The audience: huh? What happened to the whole part about the weather being noted at the preflight briefing, if they had one? And what is ‘parrin’?

The fundamental conflict is between operating a helicopter ambulance service and a flying club. If the conditions are safe according to FAA standards, then there's a patient's life that depends upon immediate transport. If it's just a flying club, you can pick and choose whether you want to fly in the specific conditions. I'm a little bit worried that some pilots avoid challenging conditions for which they are trained, experienced, and paid to work in at the expense of a patient's health (or life).

Definitely need crash-resistant FDR. This is not new technology.

Apparently, it’s something that the FAA wants more time or more impetus to legislate. God knows why?
