NTSB locates black box in deadly Philadelphia air ambulance crash

I can't imagine the black box being intact to any extent that will allow recovery of any data.

They can withstand 3000 times the force of gravity and over 2000 degrees farenheit. It sucks to say it but they were literally designed to survive this type of scenario. I just hope the information they retrieve helps to prevent this from happening again.

Unfortunately this "black box" is just the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and not a flight data recorder (FDR). Learjets usually have only one black box and are not required to have two.

Shhhh your not supposed to notice those details and say it out loud, like a completely melted car right next to a perfectly fine flag. or the man that had his camera set up in Macys parking lot pointed at the exact spot of the impact point.
