Ksh. 50 million stolen in Thika bank heist after thieves dug 35 metre long tunnel

Police in Kiambu County have arrested a lady and two gentlemen, in connection with a 50 million shilling heist at the Kenya Commercial Bank's,Thika branch. Kiambu County Police Commandant Adiel Nyange, told the media that the persons who accessed the vault of the bank via a tunnel dug from the adjacent building, were tenants at the Thika City Business centre which housed stalls selling electronics, phones and clothes.
