No we dont get what we deserve if we choose a relationship with Jesus and through him God. Jesus took what we deserved. He paid that price painfully but until the seperation from God because he took on our sin, not once did he cry out theough all the hurtfull whippings stabbings. Look ot up crucifixion is bad. But not once dod he cry out intil our sins not his ours turned God away. That is when Jesus hurt so badly that he screamed out. Not being in the presence of the father. Beautiful song. The lyrics are so true and that truth can set us free!!! The only thing truly constant in life is change! Life is a lesson, a blessing or a combination of both! I'm trying to be the best version of me that I can be. I'm glad at 59 I'm not the same as I was at 21! Life struggles made me stronger & wiser in many ways.
