this is probably the 50th version of this song that i've heard and it hardly ever disappoints...my first exposure to quick was from the tiny desk concert, so i'm definitely missing the energy that tank and jelly brought when they sing together...still, this was a great performance!

Even at TINY DESK, "QUICK" sounded orchestral, BUT this rendition could have used a little JELLY on it to equalize the vocal to symphony balance of power. (TANK & THE BANGAS will alway be FANTASTIC, though.) Still, I love it. 🔥🔥🔥

@@HTAdams84 Jelly has been singing with the New Orleans band, GALACTIC. Although with T and the Bs, Anjelika was the “Best Hype Man in the Business” (sorry Flavor Flav), Ms. Joseph apparently realizes that being the lead singer of a successful band is okay, as well. *Yes, Jelly & Tank, together, would have balanced things with the Nu Deco Ensemble.
