Daft Punk is already known for musical masterpieces, but I never knew there was such hidden beauty in placing it into an orchestra. It's like that was what was intended the whole time. It's like cracking a code someone hid deep within the synthetic sounds of the almost hypnotic synth. Absolutely beautiful translation. Humans VS Robots indeed.
@Just_Sara3 жыл бұрын
I remember hearing Tron: Legacy for the first time, and when I heard how good Daft Punk's soundtrack was... that's when I knew. The synthetic sounds blended with orchestral sounds as though it was just another instrument, and just, yes.

I love how this demonstrates clearly that some "pop musicians" are actually wonderful composers on par with greats of any age. The arranger deserves a ton of credit for bringing this music to life with an orchestra, but Daft Punk's compositions are rich and dynamic, evoking a wide range of emotions. In particular their ability to inspire joy is always appreciated =)

True. Even though the song is perhaps a club hit with a sort of specific sound, there is in fact a lyric from that track that transcends the overall theme of the song. "We've come too far, to give up who we are. So look up to the stars, and let's raise the bar"... That is club hit and a pop culture hit with a hidden bar of excellent poetry.

I get such an incredibly strong Philip Glass vibe from a good portion of the TRON Legacy soundtrack, and this just drives that association home for me. Other than the chord changes being a bit too mainstream for Glass, if you played this for me blind I'd have guessed that the first minute and a half of this was from a Glass piece if I hadn't heard the TRON soundtrack first. And yes, all of this is brilliant. Keep up the awesome "covers!" 😄

That flute/clarinet sound is so beautiful. And this ensemble captured every possible positive thing about daft punk and turned it into one of the most amazing modern era symphonic compositions I have ever heard. So weird, is that some kind of syncopation or just a weird use of eighth notes and a silence on the final 1/8 or 1/16th note?? Damn I suck. I just know what music sounds like...I can't turn it into math and words as well as I wish I could. I can just copy it or create it. Edit: I suck at music lol and don't even care rn. I know how to play that rhythmic form, I have no idea how to discuss it...and it really doesn't matter. Their usage of it is so great...I just want to listen again and dip out.
