The melody is actually composed by Bach (Germany). But we Swedes has claimed the song as our own! It's mandatory to sing 'Nu Grönskar Det' at all sorts of festive occasions during summer.

That little instrument in the beginning is called Jaw harp, mouth harp, jew's harp and many other names. It's been found all over the world since about 300 BC. In Sweden they are found in old viking tombs from about the 800 century. Great reaction and greetings from Sweden.
