Zanskar and Drass are both deserve for District Status because Drass as per history of India people of Drass have stand forefront in the following wars and have contributed their sacrifices of Lives and Property for the protection and defence of mother Land with our brave Indian Army.1.....1947.war.fought with the help of Indian Army .....2......1965.war.......3.....1971....War and....1999 Kargil war.Actual Drass was the field of Kargil.war.the people of Drass by providing necessary assistance and neck to neck with our Indian Army fought these wars.The people of Drass have laid down their lives during these wars for the safety and security of the motherland (Baharat)India our nation Drass is the 2nd coldest place of the world after Siaberia .It was police station in year.1965.It was Naibat.1965..It us a border Sub Division and the people of Drass have suffered too much loss but defended and protected the mother land and the Enemy was pushed back to his actual places and as result of which we again captured with the help of people of Drass.the most important post Tiger Hill......Tololing Range............ Ringel Top ..........Jat Hill.......Etc. So this is the contribution of people of Drass. Drass be given District Status as Border District and the gate of of Ladakh and to remember the Sacrifices of the people of Drass during above mention Wars

Let Nobra be given District Status on political based but the Sub.Division Zanskar and Sub Division Drass also part of Ladakh U.T and people of Drass and Zanskar are also citizens of India.India is a big country if three Districts be created on farfulang area and in Border Area the people of these two sub Division will be highly thankful to B.J.P.Govtt.
