The absolute easiest way to do live arena is the 3 loss then 2 win strat. You constantly drop in challenge level. Its just the best way to approach this content. this would give a few people a free win from time to time. I can farm Live Arena in around 15 minutes using this strategy as well. Super fast and efficient. The point totals will slowly add up and you will eventually get Quintas for free with little to no effort. I have managed to get to Gold 2 almost solely using this strategy. I have also had huge gains in the Great Hall, which is the only reason I do this game mode.

OK, just to be clear, what is actually involved in the 3 loss then 2 win strat? Do you start the selection then exit for the 3 losses, then after 3 straight losses you know you are getting 2 bots, so you just do a normal 2 battles before losing again?

@@brianh1287 3 losses in a row(you can quit at champ selection) and your next matchup will be against a bot that should be an easy win for decently constructed teams. You can get bot matches all the way up to Silver 4.

@@brianh1287 so up to Silver 4 you lose 3 then you get bot or easy win. The game then in Gold drops your competition player power as you lose. So im a lvl 32m player power and i fight 5-10m player power teams in Gold 2. I insta quit 3 matches at the selection screen then fight two. Im at the bottom of the fight selection for my level. Allows me to farm Live in 15 minutes-10 fights. Although now with the chest i'll use gems to refill to get the chest daily. Its very effective because the game pushes you to keep a 50/50 win rate. Every 3rd loss it resets your fighting tier and you see this because it goes 1 minute without finding a match up.

my tips: #1 stay in silver. #2 lose a lot, on purpose. #3 farm the bots and spend gems on refills until you get the gear for Marius and the area bonuses you want. Once you've done all that, re-evaluate what you do going forward.

I'm in silver something and there is two major problems with live arena for me #1 is the times its on, i set alarm on my phone to try and get on but often unable and then once i actually log on it's already over #2 is the time it takes to play for limited amount of wins, people keep running timer down the full 60s for every pick and takes ages to c/o their attacks once fight actually starts, and then I dont even get to take a turn so complete waste of +5min since my speed boost is just over 300 speed and I dont have champions for a go second team I usually get nuked without getting to do anything at all. I spent time trying to drop down to a tier below but then i just got up a tier again as soon as i started fighting and its all back to not even taking a turn most fights, if its was faster to do I wouldnt care but its so timeconsuming and that makes me hate it. Maybe at least in bronse and silver they can reduce the time for selecting champions to 10 or 15sec as there is no restriction to what you can pick then it would be so much better.

Got my first Live Arena Advanced quest today. Decided to play hard until I get 1 win for the quest, then goof around with the rest of my matches and lose them. I figure it'll help others finish their quest and I can have fun goofing around with all Epic groups for a couple minutes before leaving the match. It was fun, finished in 15-20 minutes, so I think I'll stick to this approach, I've never cared about winning Live Arena so I'm probably an odd one out.

The thing of live arena I can't stand is the huge imbalance... I'm in silver 2 with no mythical and Armanz, but face people who have Armanz plus at least one mythical

The imbalance only gets worse but if you approach it with a good mindset then its not bad. I only think of this as great hall boosts so I had to figure out the fastest and easiest way to get medals. Once I realized after 3 losses you get easier matches then that was my approach. Lose 3 then win 2, then lose 3 then win 2. I have a pretty strong great hall from doing this plus i get 2-3 chests per month. and im halfway through gold 2. By far the best way to deal with live arena. It's around a 15 minute farm.

Honestly I don't even ban mythical in silver...depending on their account level most of the time players don't have the resources to properly equipped or upgrade them. About 50% of the time Loki will lock them out and Thor will put them on the ground as they are squishy

Imo live arena and arena in general is plariums attempt to prey on those who have a competitive edge but are not spenders. Live arena was the hope to tilt those players to spend more, " if I only had better champs, if only I had better gear, if only etc" arena was more of afk competition and can not draw that tilt factor out of people like live can. It's more apparent now that they are forcing those to play it to finish advance missions. If they said win or lose you get credit would be different cause I could just concede, but it says you need to win which forces those to have to play. This is just me and I wonder if others agree the same or not . Btw i personally hate live cause it forces me to sit around and wait when most of the time i have other things i need to do.

Time is the biggest issue. The game already has so many aspects that I have a hard time fitting in everything in my allotted time to play. The time that the arena is available is rarely the same time that I am available. When I do play, there is a clock, tell me how long I have to make my choices. I don’t know all of the champions yet and I find it quite difficult at my age to function in a timely manner that they have set up. Time is not my friend and it just adds anxiety to my life. But now I have to do live Arena to finish out my quest otherwise I lose out on at least one energy refill every day as well as shards. Not a happy camper with Plarium right now. And then you add the new hydra clash debacle, and now my feathers are really ruffled.

One of my biggest issues is my lack of patience! There's just too much waiting for an opponent to select champs or take a turn. Like they are busy doing something else like a CC recording the battle and rambling on and not actively participating in the battle.

Great tips nubs! Still in silver iii and I use the same 6-7 champ picks and win/loss keeps me in the same spot. I have no desire to push into gold…I don’t win more than I lose, but I try to try sometimes. Seems like a good spot to be.

I appreciate your video because you do make good points. I don't like LA simply because I don't play this game for PvP. If I could play this game without Classic Arena and Tag Team Arena, I would. Also, I spend way too much time in RAID already. Adding in more required time for a mode I have zero interest in just sucks for me.

The live arena hate is not because of live arena game mode but it is for 1 time within the game. on top of trying to get masteries and farming for oils and souls, and not mention fusions, i need more time for this. 2 time other players take to choose. 3 before you can incorporate the quest within the team setups when you do arena now unfortunately i am forced to do something which comes on top 4 when a negative change here a negative change there add up and the result is anger regardless if it is a good mode or not. Unfortunately I like live arena but i also have a life. Thank you nub for your great content

I hate live arena so much. Raid pvp is one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen in my gaming career. If they force me to play it, I think I will quit Raid. Pvp is only fun when it is balanced. Raid is not balanced at all; on the contrary, it is deliberately unbalanced because Plarium wants to push you to spend as much as possible. And Plarium has pushed this pathological aspect so much in recent times. This is making Raid unplayable for all other players.

It's only unbalanced in the sense you can't reach the top of the ladder unless you are a significant spender. However it is balanced because most players will win half their matches.

I say the first tip is a good one regardless of being a "cc" and having more eyes on you or not. It's exactly the same thing. Do those people show up and hurt you IRL nubs? or is it the perceived "oh this negative thing is going to happen now that I lost or made a mistake". The worst you'll get is a few negative comments online and even then it's all psychology how much you let that bother you!

for some reference, i made it into silver 4 live arena with 6-7 60'd champs, i believe wukong, rathalos, draco, alsgor, nia, maulie and the occasionally priest orn because he had a 4 star cruelty blessing which at the time was my highest blessing.

I do like the advice to look at the game and think about it, its a lot nicer in general than the outrage about the game from a lot of CCs a lot and also, if the game is making you genuinely upset/angry, you should quit or at least take a break, it is a game

Matchmaker does not account for roster which is the biggest flaw with it, I started in 2020 and missed about 18 months until I resumed this year and I own 0 meta champs my only way to win is the speed race and if they are faster than me, which is likely as they've had 18 months more gear farming than I have it's an automatic loss. If you do not own obscene gear AND/OR meta champs you cannot compete in live arena at any level. My very first live arena game it put me vs 5 mythicals, because my player power is so high it is assumed I have viable champions but every single champion that's in the meta was released in the gap I took a break. Wukong, UDK, Armanz, Taras, Marichka, Uuko, Gnishak, Harima, Hephraak (not IN the meta but is very much a counter to anyone who does not have a single meta champ) all the mythicals. They're not stupid, putting a gear chest at 5 wins is to get people to use gems I suspect 90% of people win 3/4 games a day on average.

I do live arena every day but I still hate it because the match making is so terrible. It gets old matching up against whales that have all top champs with 6 star souls in Gold 2. You are 100% right though, just dont take it so seriously and getting the 5 wins sometimes just takes a few gems a day for a refill.

I don't have the roster, can't change that unless I do a wallet speedrun. With the way live arena gains for win/loss are, you inevitably climb. I am now at 2800 rating with no good ban champions besides Armanz (if I win the coinflip to first pick him to begin with). I can't build speed teams since I have no big ticket high-speed champions besides Arbiter so they ban her and my team is done. My go second gets destroyed by a ban as well. My opponents always have several speed leads/fast champion like Shu/Warlord/Yumeko/Lyssandra etc., I don't. My nukers are also lackluster. The champion I use the most right now for PvP DPS is Arix, followed by Wukong, another popular pick in LA that I might not always get.

Sorry to put an unrelated comment on a live arena video but we need an updated Siege guide now that the changes are live, do we upgrade our strongholds or repair all our buildings, which bonuses are good to use, etc... Live arena change is bad but if you just want the quest it's easy just like you said yesterday - leave 3 lobbies as soon as you connect then fight the bot if you don't want to waste your time.

This video is really important and I'm so glad you made it. For me, it is psychological. I haven't touched live arena yet, not because I hate it, but because of other internal issues, and those issues being shame based. People are jerks and they're very impatient. And if you need to take a few more seconds to figure it out, they won't be understanding about it. With that said, I'm kind of fine with the new change to the daily advanced quests including this. But, I wish instead of saying "win" a battle, that it simply said, "participate" in live arena.

In my opinion, it should be more like "Play 2/3 fights of live arena" instead of win, why do we have live arena quests that are all about WIN fights, milestone rewards are about wining you need to win to get all of them, so the other quest should be about playing or doing something specific(live tag or normal arena), winning makes me anxious about that what if i lose those or miss rewards, i need 5 daily wins for that new live arena daily wins. The other thing is there are some people with bad internet so the fight take 3-4 times as much time, so the 10 daily fights of live arena can take around 1-1,5h if you are unlucky. Im playing for 4 years now, have 2 mythic champions, have enough champs that i can mix my teams in live arena so i can fight that, but everything around that is why i mostly dont play live arena

For bronze and silver after 3 losses I am positive it gives you a bot account, but they don't do that in gold, which is why it fails to matchmake after three straight losses.

I just got settled in gold 2 and whilst watching this lost 5 on the bounce - prob won 4/5 last time, I only have a handful of dudes, do need another speed aura for when I am down to one. I only bother for the area bonus and the 2/3 mythical pulls a month (never had anything other that rares from them so far)

Guess you wont see this, but with the new live arena advance quest cant i do my advance quests anymore... with work and real life stuff am i usually doing my daily stuff late evening and then the live arena is closed and wont open until reset... so now i cant finish my advance quests anymore. So guess plarium are forcing me to quit.

I use the same team every time for live arena. Armanz, arbiter, seeker, madem serris and Genbo. Armanz is bait for the ban and if I out speed the other guy I win most of the time. If I don't then I don't care, just try again.

I did 15 battles to get a mythical charm some energy and silver. Not sure it’s worth the 5 wins a day. I just do enough to get the quartz monthly and take a week or two off.

I did like LA a bit, until I needed 1 pc of zeal for marius and I had to grind LA for more then 3 months to get the last gloves. After that is did quit and didn’t do it again.

I hate Live arena, 1. bots all over the place 2. MMR are just terrible, absolutely horrible. 3. Time periods, with live outside this game, its not always possible to play this. Their Idea of PVP is, lets reward you for loosing on purpose. It doesn't matter if we are talking tag team, Siege, Classic, CvC or live arena loose on purpose and we will reward you. Yeah Raid really understands PvP what a fucking joke.

The argument that you need to pay to get high up in live arena is just a lazy excuse. Its the same for everything in life if you want to advance you need to put in the effort. You can climb with a 50% win ratio. If you want to invest the time, is a whole other thing.
