NUC6CAYH + MINI TOSLINK

Hi. I just bought the NUC6CAYH last night. Installed Windows 10 Home and Bought a MiniToslink to Toslink cable. Everything on Windows was updated and NO "!" marks can be found in the Device Manager. However, connecting to my Sony Receiver, No Sound came Out at all. The cable seemed normal as the red light appeared when I unplugged it from the Receiver's end. Is that Realtek Media App a Must?

thats good. did you download all the drivers from download.intel.com ?

@@MrDark21knight after installing windows 10 last night. I just left it to run all the drivers update. I have downloaded the driver bundle from intel.com for the nuc6cayh but have not used it because it seemed that all updates ran normal from windows (no exclamation marks in device manager). i am currently downloading the Realtek HD Audio Manager and will run that before running the driver bundle. Or am I doing this wrong?

ALMOST FORGOT, download the latest serial IO driver too [SATA]

@@MrDark21knight i cannot seem to install the hd audio manager correctly. from the intel.com download page it only installs drivers, no audio manager. do you have a link that works?

Manoj Siva does your tv have HDMI? Does your HT receiver have HDMI?

MrDark21knight yup,but HDMI(arc)provides only stereo sound, not working Dolby 5.1
