Watch those marinco plugs being exposed and transporting it. The exposed pins if the both tough metal will short out the BMS on the lithium batteries. I lost one this year for that reason so I made a cover to slide over it when I unplug it.

Love your videos. I want to get a fishing kayak but own a Prius. I've seen some modular kayaks that seem like I'd be able to transport and one folding from Brooklyn kayak. Do you have any suggestions?

Yakima makes some nice roof racks for the Prius. I would consider that and get a regular kayak versus a folding kayak or modular one from an Alibaba brand. I just don’t know about the quality personally. The other thing you could seriously consider is getting a premium inflatable kayak or kayak/SUP hybrid.

If you visit a premium dealer like Westbrook Supply you can get all the accessories and they will usually install them and rig the boat for you

I actually had this ordered during Covid but the supply chain was majorly delayed. Ended up getting a Native slayer used just to get in the water. Now have that up for sale so I can get the Unlimited again 😆. I really like the simple open deck. Can go as much or as little rigging you want. So many possibilities. I have to know though, HOW CAN WE WIN THIS BOAT!!!!? I want one Chad! Sooo bad.

Torn between this and the Titan X as my first fishing kayak. I wanting something stable that I can stand on and will be motorizing it. This is half the price but loses the peddle and a few other features. Really having a tough time deciding.

Did you take a look at the Bonafide pwr 129? Similar pricing to the unlimited and features from the TitanX(but without the pedal drive). The PWR is already pre rig for a motor(bow or stern, like the unlimited.

NuCanoe makes a pedal drive system, but I did not use it for this testing scenario. Their pedal drive system is a prop drive by a flex cable with bicycle style pedals. Personally, I think this boat is very versatile and has the ability to be rigged and propelled any way that you want. However, if I were specially looking for a pedal driven kayak, I would recommend looking for one that is purpose built as a pedal drive kayak.

Imagine flipping with all that gear and batteries, trolling motor and trying to flip it back over in 3ft waves. Highly doubt most anglers could flip it back over. Very unsafe and pushing the limits of safety for nothing in the end.
