You the Hockey Guy and Hockey Psychology are my favorite channels to watch. I was kinda shitting myself when it looked like my two top teams were gonna match up in the finals. this is the first time ive commented on your videos but man you always make me laugh. Your editing is has gotten really good and adds to the quality of the videos, youre doing great. I actually only started watching since Silovs was in net and i ended up watching your season one playlist. It really helped me understand the culture of the team and how everything went for them before the playoffs. Keep doing what youre doing! Dont worry about the upload schedule because the wait is always worth it. Theres also some news about Silovs going down with a minor knee injury. Great video. One thing you missed was that you said that it wasn't fair to send Podkolzin to Abbotsford. In reality, he would need to clear waivers as of this year so he'd likely have been claimed.

Very true except I think they could have avoided waivers if they had started the season with him already in Abbotsford. But that would basically be saying "you aren't even gonna get a chance to make the team this year" which would be pretty damaging for a young player in the middle of their development.

I honestly keep forgetting about the players we signed. Our main issue will be goaltending this year though. Now with Silovs and Demko injured. Wish we could have somehow kept DeSmith. Just keep 3 goalies up and rotate. Demko 1a and Silovs and DeSmith share backup. Just crazy how we can take two injuries like that, just like last year with the playoffs. We’re cursed

I agree with almost everything but I think they will sit back and wait till the season starts before they make any more. We have a goalie that we know can at least keep us competitive. The Pacific is looking pretty week this year with LA and Vegas taking steps back. I don't see a point in bringing in another goalie unless Demko is out until January. Idk how good the defence is gonna hold up that makes me a little nervous still think this team needs another top 4 guy. But this will be an exciting year for the team.

Definitely think theres something going on with Demko. Latvia has their olympic qualifiers starting tomorrow and I think it was originally intended that he would play for them. Silovs has been in riga, seen at the arena even just 2 days ago and has been featured in their social media feed several times recently, but it was announced today that he wasn't going to be on the roster. He also didn't play in their trial game against Denmark. My hunch is that he's trying to avoid getting injured because he's going to have to start a lot of games in the early season.. 👀

They wouldn't have signed Lindholm if Petey didn't play negotiation games and forced their hand. They didn't know if he was gonna pull a Tkachuk and dip. They needed a commitment and he wasn't willing to give one. So they signed Lindholm for insurance. Allvin wanted to sign a winger for Petey at the TDL but was hamstrung. We went back to a formula that doesn't work, 3 top 6 forwards, something we had with Horvat and with little success. A second line with Petey and nobody to play with, no disrespect to Mikheyev but 11 goals isn't enough, and Lafferty? I love the additions Allvin made and Tocchet now have 4 dangerous lines he can roll.

I really like that idea. I think keeping DeBrusk and Heinen together is a great call. I've also been daydreaming about this lineup: Höglander - Miller - Boeser Joshua - Pettersson - Garland DeBrusk - Blueger - Heinen Di Giuseppe/Blais - Suter - Sprong/Sherwood

That would be interesting too, to see Petey with Garland and Joshua. Maybe it elevates their game to crazy levels. Joshua a 30 goal scorer isn't out of reach if that line found chemistry.

Garland has shown glimpses of having chemistry with Petey and we already know that him and Joshua are basically the Sedin twins. That line could be lethal. 30+ goals for Joshua for sure. Plus, who's gonna mess with Petey if Joshua's always on the ice next to him? 🤔
