I'm a post graduate student The way you teach in your videos is a very easiest and simplest way to make student learn with great interest.Ive always found nuclear physics boring and was worried for my exams as soon as ,I started watching your videos my interest got develop and now as my basics have been clear. I consider nuclear physics as one of my favourite subject heartiest thnx to you 🌸🌸

I intend this as a compliment, but idk how it will be received. Usually I avoid videos when I see an Indian in the thumbnail due to thick accents, low camera quality, and for what feels like a tendency of speakers to regurgitate information they just learned before hand. This video was great quality, information was useful, and I'm glad I didn't skip it.

This is very nice. My only question is, what is nuclear cross section? I assume this value is based on experiments with neutrons and substances. Or can cross section be calculated per atom? I know there is a table that shows cross section for all atoms, both fast and thermal. But how was it derived?
@praveenjain59602 жыл бұрын
N are incident particles or surviving particles (In Figure N0 are incident). There is some confusion in expressing N.
@amitamit87762 жыл бұрын
Sir, why few materials have better cross for slow neutrons, while other have better cross sections for fast neutrons
@shashwatsingh24062 жыл бұрын
The nucleus holds a coulumb potential which falls as 1/r so its field stays to inf so in that case the idea of relative probability as in the video might not be suitable i am myself thinking over it
