The "fire from matter" is analogous to the cleansing fire which a Holy man experiences when withdrawing from the world to rest and deeply contemplate, pray, repent and reconsider things in silence, the final step before his metousiosis. The world itself will take a new form only if we take a new form first and see things differently. What does "the sky closed like a scroll" mean? The old history and our perceived purpose and destination comes to an end and we begin to see things with new eyes.

I'd love a description of what "stars falling to the Earth" means. I sure hope we don't only adopt scientific language when it's convenient and ignore science when it doesn't match the description... (which initially seems to be the case here, as stars are much larger than Earth and it doesn't make scientific sense for them to "fall to the Earth"). You can say the ancient categories are not our own-----and I'd agree. But then you can't use them for "nuclear energy releases" either, just because the ancient description in THAT particular case seems to parallel modern categories.

Watch the video again if you did not already, the point isn't fearing energy, the point is the opposite, that man cannot occasion the consumption of the world/universe by physical means, in other words, the nuclear holocaust would/will not be caused by nuclear energy, rather, nuclear energy would be the means, although, this is not doctrinal, the destruction of the present earth and heavens is. This does not forego the destruction of nations of each other, however, as pointed out in the video.

Of course God did not make a mistake, Adam tainted creation with the original sin and so all things shall pass away, but through God shall also be made new. Noah and the Ark is a sort of pre-figuring of this, but instead of water, there will be fire.

The notion of a metastable Higgs vacuum offers exactly the scenario envisioned here as "nuclear energy burning up the universe." The transition from the false vacuum to the true vacuum is analogous to the nucleation of a vapour bubble in water at boiling point: the Higgs bubble would nucleate, expand at the speed of light, wiping out everything in its wake, like a great reset. It's speculative, though - but so is this video.

@@helviov There were Ecumenical Councils for a reason, uniformity of belief. Communication wasn't great; the autocephalos church of Rome was severed completely at the time of the 4th crusade, for sure. It took a few centuries but the severing in the 11th century of the autocephalos church of Rome was final. The Roman Catholic unique beliefs contradict our own, so they cannot be brought back into the Church. As well, the Unia is a huge issue. It isn't the same as in St. Constantine's time as the churches were in the one Church. Now it is the Church and the RCC. The latter of which was formed from the former. Repentance of the church of Rome is the only way to unity. That was the goal when the Patriarch of Rome was stricken from the Diptychs of Commemoration by the Pat. of Constantinople in AD 1014. Met. Kallistos Ware of Blessed Memory + got many things wrong. He wasn't a Theologian nor infallible. We will part here. Goodbye.
