These cops is what we need. Cops being very polite and very professional. They build bridges with community and community trust them. Unfortunately it's not many of them. Mostly cops are paranoid and frankly uneducated and psychos

The Nuclear Decommissioning Agency is now overseeing the decommissioning of the last 1 of 3 reactors. However it will be another 50 years before the site is made safe. They are being sued by the former operator of the site Energy solutions EU LTd for £200 million because the contract was illegally awarded to a Anglo American consortium. A high court judge ruled the NDA fudged the rules to wrongfully award the contract.

The site ceased activities in 1990. It was also a nuclear research facility that's all gone too.
