For those who don't know, the sample you can hear at the beginning comes from Armitage III, a 1995 cyberpunk Japanese anime. The video clip in itself is an homage to this anime. It made me rewatch them all, big thanks to the band!

I can agree, and have a somewhat similar story. Discovered them on Spotify in 2019 with Ghost in the Rain and Blind and Frozen. Added 2 more songs in 2021 with From Hell with Love and Die by the Blade. Then this year I really got into them, adding 9 more songs of theirs, 2 each off the first 2 albums, and 5 from the 3rd one. They're so damn good. I've been binging the hell out of them. They were my number 3 artist on my Spotify Wrapped for 2023. I'd wager they'll be number 1 next year.

Recently discovered BiB and have been playing Dark Connection religiously. Walked in to the Nightwish show to see the album cover on the big screen and it gave me the biggest smile. The song is one that grows on you, melodically well put together, and has the usual BiB catchy chorus. The video is amazing, so cyberpunk, with a huge flavour of Bladerunner thrown in. @@bigmonkey1254 Blade Runner comes first and foremost in time (1982) and in resemblence but let's also not forget "Ghost in the Shell" (GitS) (Anime movie in 1995 and live-action in 2017). I want to point to the scene where the gynoid sits on a rooftop under moonlight. OK, she does not dive with thermo-optic camouflage and guns blazing but I think I can make my point. Moreover, replicants of Blade Runner are bioengineered and fully organic beings as far as I can remember where cyborgization occurs in different levels in GitS. From the sparks in the clip, I assume cyborgs or androids/gynoids. Ending credits also label the girl as gynoid.

I was lifting weights and when I put this song to play tears came to my eyes about how awesome this song is. It was absolutely awesome to workout while listening to this! I listened to the song for the first time during yesterday’s workout, but only today did it hit my mind. There was a similar feeling when Blind and Frozen came in the fall of 2017. Thanks for this!
