+Joel Lindqvist Then you have to listen the album Mechanize, with Gene Hoglan at the drums. I am a big fan of Raymond Herrera, but dude, Gene makes Mechanize brutal as hell, And Burton and Dino are really inspired on this album. One of the most underrated metal bands. Over the years they have combined elements of industrial metal, death metal, groove metal, alt metal, thrash metal, and even nu metal, but they've always been Fear Factory and have had that FF sound. Also love the combination of Burton's brutal harsh vocals and beautiful clean vocals. And even though they've been around since the early 90s, and have put out masterpieces like Demanufacture and Obsolete, they just now put out one of their best albums. Fucking incredible.

@robicenco17 жыл бұрын
I think most of the songs on The Industrialist are at least decent, and a handful are very good - but it's the album's bad fortune to fall between two genuine masterpieces (Mechanize and Genexus), so it looks a bit weak by comparison. Also, the programmed drums don't sound so great. Even though you'd think Fear Factory are the one band where you'd barely notice if the drummer were replaced by a machine... you still do. Testament to the skills of Herrera, Hoglan and Heller, I guess.
