Oh this is not depressing friend... well ok it is sad that humans have to die. Really freaking sad. But hope we have as well! Christ is our hope! We r way way to special to live a wrinkle in time to die. Hope! Its a wonderful thing. And love! Experiencing the love for your child or wife or being loved is special and great. But yes, it still is sad and hard to deal with. Even Jesus cried uncontrollably when a friend of his died and he saw how everyone was so sad, it made him weep. We have a God who can relate to all our troubles. And even came down from the comfort of heaven and died and mans death. Why? Love

+Slave Laborist What? Genexus Heavy? Common, did you ever heard Concrete, Soul Of A New Machine, Mechanize? these are the real Heavier Albums from Fear Factory. Even Obsolete, Archetype, Transgresions and The Industrialist are more heavier, rather than this new whole record from them. Genexus it's an ok album, the same standard as Digimortal but more heavier, groovier and more reworked, but with little slower at the tempo progression. Even Digimortal is more Faster than this. The only heavier songs from this new album are the Genexus song and Battle for Utopia. I should say, Genexus got the worst Burton's voices ever. Hope is not the beginning for his end as the vocalist for this band. ...... Or even the band itself. Because, Fear Factory means to me; Faster & Higher velocity Tempos, Creativity, Heaviness, Complexity. But this albums lacks on everything. But at least this is not a bad record anyway, the whole album is really faithful. But i'm still waiting for their really Master Piece. Maybe it's gonna be their next one. Not this. I want a Soul Of A New Machine 2. Not another recycled ideas from Demanufacture / Obsolete / Digimortal.

Man, as much as I've listened to fear factory, idk how I managed to skip this song for so long. Now, I'm listening to it. Feel like a high school kid all over again. Good stuff, man.

Been listening to fear factory for a long time, and i can say that this song and final exit have to be 2 of my all time favorite songs that they ever created. I can listen, and have listened, to this song and final exit on repeat over and over again. Such great, songs, love the bladerunner quotes embedded in the song also!

Burton is not replaceable. They will never replicate his voice, his emotions, and feeling in Fear Factory. It'll just sound like a cover band. I love them. but this is the truth.

I loved this song from the very first moment I heard it and over the years it's just grown on me more... It has become one of my favorite songs of all time! It's one of those songs that really speaks truth... it's just a reminder that all of us as human beings have one thing in common... we all die. It really sucks that life is so short... we're all only here for a moment in time and then we're gone forever... Life is a temporary gift... enjoy it while you can!

I love this album a lot. I love the super heavy guitars and drums, the awesome synths, the melancholic melodies, the use of piano, the industrial sound effects. I love the fact that the production and mixing is actually pretty solid. This album is a great work of concept art!!! The theme and atmosphere of singularity and man vs machine is more present than ever before. Best Fear Factory release in a long time! Also Burton C Bell's vocal work has improved.

Industrial sounds and keys are played by Rhys Fulber, who is working with FF for almost 20 years. Check his electro industrial band Frontline Assembly. I think you could like 'em. And if you're for something more melodic, try Rhys Fulber's projects Conjure One, Noise Unit and Delerium.

this song is exactly what radio music should be like. No reason a song can't be profoundly melancholic and deep, and catchy and poppy at the same time. But the clip just doesn't do it too much justice.
@yoe918 жыл бұрын
+Fuck Google hehe. Jokes aside, this would pass on the radio, ‘regular' folks nowadays aren't scared about a tad bit of distortion, and it's not like there's screaming or blast beats. And it's catchy as fuck, the lyrics (although deep) very relatable on the surface, and it's easily clean/big enough as far as production. Make a 4min version of this, boom, industrial pop radio metal. *wears slipper on eyes *

Been into fear factory since 94,I remember everyone freaking out when they went onto their "demanufacture "album..and not in a good way,loads hated the clean vocals it had.. I personally loved it, and hoped they would keep it up, well they did and 15 year later they release this epic piece. Its become one of my favourite tracks
