My grandpa was a medic with rank of Capt. In the USAs 508 PIR 82ndA/B Div. and was in "Operation Market Garden " , and said he lost Sr of his buddies from way back in basic training I'm the States , @ Nimwjegan , Holland mid- Sept. 1944.

That's a rediculous statement. Those are two entirely different missions, for entirely different purposes. It's not a matter of preference which one to use, but which is called for. You can't ambush a radar site or Field Artillery gun located 10 miles behind enemy lines. But, if intelligence indicates, you can ambush a search and destroy patrol sent to destroy your radar site or Artillery piece. Now, Do you understand?
