Nude Lipsticks for Fair, Cool Toned Skin (NW20)

Hooray! I’m NW20 and finding good nudes can be tricky. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for some of these. I would love to see pinks and reds for our complexion, even oranges if possible. I find pinks to be particularly tricky for some reason. Thank you!!

This will sound creepy but I bought Midi-Mauve bec you mentioned it in spite of my own NC44 skin tone. Now, I prefer wearing cooler tone lippies more than warm. Basically, I'm hunting down all the products you said in this video. Thank you, Dustin!

Hello 👋, I had heather shimmer & coffee shimmer! I had completely forgotten about them, very, very nineties. I treated myself back then to a matte brown from guerlain that was so matte it kind of pulled your lips to apply it & that was even when it was brand new! Probably not my best look, but it tasted & smelt lovely. Late 90’s I had a thing for holographic glitter lip gloss to go clubbing in. You are bringing back great memories, thank you! 💋

Yes, I would love to see similar videos on both pinks and reds! I love reds and spend a ridiculous amount of thought on different shades and hues of reds, but I'm game for geeking out over pretty much any color family. Nudes are always fascinating, so dependent on undertone. I'm a MAC C1 myself, so also fair, but at the other end of the warm/cool spectrum, and the one of these lip colors that I've tried (Midimauve) comes off as a quite blue-toned sort of mauve/rose on me.

NW 15 here so super tricky to find nude lipsticks but I generally go to deeper tones for it. Given that my lips are quite pigmented naturally I go for MAC Creme in your coffee, Modesty, Fast play or Really me and of course anything sheer berry toned for sure! I always carry in my bag the Clarins instant light in 08. I also love Nars velvet lipglide in Bound and KvD Lovecraft (back in the day).

Hi, Dustin! Since we're nearly twinsies in MAC shade range, which color do you use in MAC Face and Body? Thank-you for all the nude lip recommendations! I used to use Coffee Bean by Revlon in the early 90s.

I have a similar skin tone, I can totally pull off the white Mac Face & Body during the winter 😂. My all time favorite nudes are Joan Collins Katrina and Clinique Nude Pop. I love the Clinique stuff so much, I’m on my 3rd one and I have A LOT of lipsticks. Thanks for the video, I always discover stuff that no one talks about through you (like the Joan Collins lipsticks). Cannot wait the red lipstick video (I wear red lipsticks all the time, if I have at least 40-50 of them).

I'm NW10 so I'm always on the hunt for a good nude that's not peach or beige which makes me look dead or gives me concealer lips, both are bad looks on me

You were so right about that Jeffree Star shade toward the end washing you out. You look like a corpse! But once you worked your magic, it was very pretty. You probably already know that I am not a fan of nudes. I have naturally pigmented lips and a nude is not my lips or better on me, it is lighter than my lips which ends up looking really wrong. You look nice in them but then you are quite pale.
