i like you use the 8x4 x 9'structual foam i used a total of 18 inch of it and did not have to do any formwork for interior bearing walls lots of friend ask why i spent $ 90.00 a cubic meter for foam when sand was only $30.00 . i put out the 8x4 sheat in little more than a day t alone to have sread 100 cubic of sand would have taken longer and do all formwork then compact it would have cost more in both labour and backpain . Now i got R72 under the slab and and put friction membrane and tile people think it is infloor heating. poored slab and ICF foundation as one go , now five years later no cracked tile on aproximate 1800sqft
