We’re back with episode 2 of this series giving you a behind the scenes look at one of the top UK watch traders. You get to see the day to day deals that take place at the Newcastle boutique in the North of England. Watchtrader & Co is an established family owned business that deals with timepieces from Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe and Richard Mille to name a few.
In this episode:
Premier League NUFC footballer Saint-Maximin sells his rose gold gem set Rolex GMT-Master II Saru and is looking for an everyday custom diamond piece. Sam Gowland collects his custom diamond set two tone Datejust. You’ll see the watches we’ve been buying and selling over the last week as well as some clients making big returns on their less than 1-year-old investments.

For every speaker I think you have to put the english subtitles on the bottom because people in USA/Canada/China/India might struggle to understand your accent(s). and you probably have to upload a new day-in-the-life vlog once a week (35 to 45 minute video minimal) and also put the date & time on-screen for 2-3 seconds as to when it was originally filmed for context for each segment within each vlog

@@Watchtrader would be also ideal if the content was filmed in 2160p (4K) minimal and uploaded onto youtube in minimal 2160p as many watch their youtube on 4K/8K TV's and also when uploaded at 2160p the quality will retain better long-term online over the next 9 to 19 years (December 2029 / December 2039 etc). A "Sony Mirrorless camera" with 4K capabilities is usually the best camera to get and also as the backup camera a "GoPro Hero 9 Black" to film footage on the run (walking) or when you dont have the camera-person with you and if a rainy day GoPro Hero 9 Black is ideal

It’s interesting to see the amount of people who are willing to pay grey market prices. I’ve established a good relationship with my local AD over the years and can get any Rolex I want at retail. Why not be patient and pay less? Oh, right. Instant gratification. I get it but a white dial ceramic Daytona for $12,600 feels much better than one for $30k.

Because Rolex AD’s just chose customers to release these hot models to whoever spends the most, so for the normal customer who doesn’t spend much money in store, will never get anything hot.
