I believe a solid CB would give more confidence to play Hall to bomb up more often. In the mean time, perhaps some balance is needed, just like how Burn did the same at leftback last season. Hall was left out last season because Howe has certain demands on the defensive side and i sense that Hall doesnt match the defensive acumen of a left sided center back/left back especially highly attacking side like Spurs

But there is also hopefully rotation as Hall still is part of the squad. Its important they all play and get minutes. I would very much prefer that. Previously esp Howe first season, he had a high tendency to stick to a same team and his 2nd choice almost didnt get games or sharpness/intergration

Btw, remember what i had about Trippier? I said i wouldnt and refuse to believe he would leave even if there's photos of him packing his bags and even pictures in Saudi clubs. He stay eventually and i believe thats really important depth. Even if rumour he wanted to leave
