One of my favorite scores from FFVII. I especially like it when it plays in that watery area of the Northern Cave. Where you gain 2000 AP by fighting those red bouncy balls. With triple AP growth weapons, it's a good way to master your materias quickly.

@@kirbyeatsyou5248 especially Knights of the round. To get the achievement Materia Overload you have to master this materia twice (or once when defeating Emerald Weapon).

I spent whole days listening to nobuo uematsu's masterpieces and I think the reunion theme is probably the best he created the sound has a really special aura. Your arrangement is super well done and is perfect for a future ff7 pixel remaster 😊

One of my favorite pieces from Uematsu. So epic, eerie yet beautiful. When i first heard this play as the scene unfolded, my stomach was in knots. I felt so bad for Cloud, him having lost grip of his identity and reality itself. Yet I was frustrated he was basically helping the main bad. A very emotionally provocative moment, and the music contributed greatly to it.

I would be really upset if this OST does not make it to the third part of remake. They have already butchered quite a few memorable OST so fingers crossed we experience this one again in its magnificence!

One of my favourite tracks from the original game. Really nice reimagining; especially the part start one minute it. Gotta acknowledge the detail of the sprites too! Cloud, Tifa and Scarlet’s especially reflect the mood of the OG scene perfectly!

It always intrigues me that FF7 still sounded a lot like a SNES game. Not putting down any of these fine remixes, but the original game already sounded very close to an SNES sound chip to begin with, I wonder how much of the SNES sound chips DNA resides in the PS1.

A lot of the instrument samples are the same, especially with Chrono Trigger. Even the alarm sound was the same.
