Enjoying your video Paul. Certainly get a lot of exercise. Nice weather. I’ve been to Australia a couple of times but not in the hot hot weather.

G'day mate Do you recommend the pro sonic with the gpx 5000? Does it make much difference since you have the booster as well?

What's the point, got half way through and realized this shows nothing about the sp01. All we hear is the sp01 unplugged and just the prosonic

Sorry if I'm mistaken, but the title doesn't say it's a review mate. Move on to another channel then. Simple. Sounds like you do have nuthn2do.

Seems like gold nuggets, and pickers are found in Aussyland nowhere near water. Why is it there? How did it get there? What gives one any clue that it might be there?

Research pays off, old waterways have moved it over time or simply shed from reefs nearby. Having access to the geology of the area helps.

Good fine mate can you give a Yankee on some tips on how to go about a trip to Australia to metal detect for gold like regulations and where are some good public places to check out any bit of information will be appreciated keep up the good work and hope you find a kilo nugget !!!

Thanks Andrew, I can only talk for Western Australia as I am not familiar with other states. Here you need a miners right ($25 for life) and you will need to get access to a lease, either by way of permission or a permit. Some leases are 'pending' which allows for miner's right holders to legally prospect. You will need to visit what ever state's government website to find out more details. Here in WA it is www.dmp.wa.gov.au. They have a program you can access to research areas, ground and leases to work out where you can and can't go. Hope this helps. Paul.

@@paulh8179 Thanks mate I appreciate the info so in your honest opinion is it hard for someone you think to obtain a miners right ? And are people generally willing to let you prospect or will you only have opportunitys at the the pending and public area's and just put of curiosity what's your biggest fine to date ? I appreciate your time I just would like to take a vacation for 2 weeks and gold prospecting is on my list for top things to do

G'day Harold, sure no probs. On front - general, special, mono, fixed tracking, threshold on about 1pm. Settings in fine gold with rx on 13, stabiliser on 11. Target signal on factory preset with the enhancer on. I like filter No.2 on the enhancer. In all honesty, I haven't touched my settings when using the 15 inch coil, I just do a morning EMI reset and ground balance. I have a 14x9 also but have to lower the Rx due to the sensitivity of it. Hope this helps. Paul.
