you two had a great spin in that woods. some great finds had by all. you were kinda hard on chris's gold ring though. you need to check out under armor, they make some killer mitts for cold weather - just google them - shade under 40 bucks - i have been using them now on the beach for over 3 years - Derecho - nice. good luck to you two - see you soon.

i forgot - i use light weight wool liner gloves inside the mitts

You should keep a bottle of vinegar and salt mix to help clean those coins friend, rubbing them when still gritty might scrub off more than you might want.. Just adding a bit of experience... and Q-tips to do the rubbing.

You would be surprised how many virgin locations there are even in the city. 2 days ago I found 10 silver coins in a 1x1 ft area at the end of a line of parking meters near a utility ground box. Top 6 inches of soil was clad quarters and 6" and deeper was all silver.

ANOTHER fun video Nugget! How do you know what all of your old finds are? I wouldn't know a curry comb from a model T hubcap if I tripped over them. Nugget, why do some signals "disappear" after you've dug out a hole?

im new with the at pro, had a whites 6000d years ago, my question is they say on your high signals like say 70's 80's, if it has a roll off signal then its mostly likely not a coin. whats your input on the chatter these pros gives? ive dug some up anyway to find a coin while others like 80% were not

those old Watkins lids can be worth something to a collector I think I saw a Watkins lid lol but its bent so probably ain't worth much. You need to stick flags in the ground, and then have someone follow you with a shovel and a pointer. When you're done finding spots, go back and help the digger.

I forgot to mention on the other video a good tip for bottles is that some bottles have a small piece of metal in them and your detector will pick it up. they are old soda bottles and are rare to find but it does happen. They are called Hutchinson bottles. Happy Hunting!
@jaichimcarridin865011 жыл бұрын
You should double check that "aluminum" handle. It looked more like sterling to me. I have found several of those, they are hollow and they used to pack them full of powder to make them solid. (without making it solid silver) They can feel light like aluminum. Half of the time they are marked as sterling. It may have been a handle to a hand mirror.
