I think the most entertaining part of your videos is how cheery you are! It makes all the little finds a lot more fun to watch. I'm also amazed at how you know what every little thing is

Hey nugg bennet. just wanted to say thank you for your passion. watching your videos resulted in me buying an atpro and researching areas and getting into history. before this i was prospecting for gold over in east tn, which is also great fun. i have found a bunch of trash but also found a 1940s trifari lizard pin/brooch since i started detecting. thank you man. you are the genuine article.

The item at 6:15 is a railroad anchor, that style was known as a Woodings anchor, they were snapped onto the base of the rail on either sides of the ties to help restrain longitudinal rail movement

The iron object you discovered is called an ‘anti creeper’, used by the railroad to keep the rail from moving due to thermal expansion and contraction. The mining pick is actually a pick commonly used on the railroad and is still in use today. I enjoy your videos, keep it up. I am a retired railroader.
