t word of advice, when you find a waterlogged phone don't try and turn it on, put it in rice for a day or two then take it to a phone booth. If you turn it on while it's still wet the circuits get fried. Love your videos ❤️

For everyone screaming fake, yeah the guy does sell metal detectors, but the working phones and cameras are MUCH more rare to find than all of the other garbage. The amount of shit people lose in certain areas on the water is INSANE. How much stuff you find is a matter of luck and timing, but also effort. This cat puts in like a regular work week out on the water looking for shit. These rivers might as well be city streets where people party and drop their shit all the time while doing it, but because it's a river, they can't just find it and pick it up again all the time, so it stays there for people like this to find or until it rots away. Go actually try this sometime in a popular river spot and you will find assloads of stuff over the course of 12 hours. Most of it will be garbage. I'm not at all shocked at how many glasses he finds. You probably won't find cameras and phones most of the time, but just think about how much more time people spend with those two particular items in today's world. People have their phones on them now much more often than usual and they have them out more often than usual. Years ago you wouldn't have brought it with you, or if you did, it stayed in your pocket. Mix in a rocking boat or some people partying and drinking and think about what happens. I would bet the vast majority of us knows at least one person who has dropped their phone into some kind of water at one point or another.

Just a tip: If ya find a phone or camera under water/wet that's not water-proof, don't immediately try turning it on as that'll likely fry the internal components if it still works. Instead take it home (or take to a technician) and have it disassembled and properly dried (if doing it yourself you can put the logic board in an oven at low temperatures), and then reassemble and try powering on. You'll have much better success rate!

We don’t have a metal detector & you’d not believe the items we’ve recovered! Phones, sunglasses, & coins are most abundant!! Plus we’ve found hundreds of bassfishing lures; some very expensive!! It’s easy to spot who doesn’t spend much time outside. God Blesses this young man! As God blesses us!! Thanks for the video, really enjoyed your finds!! Just a tip - if you find an electronic item that isn't waterproof don't try and turn it on. Water + electrics = fried electrics. Things are much more likely to work again if you take them apart and stick them in a bowl of rice in an airing cupboard / above a radiator / somewhere warm for a few days so they can completely dry out!

Me and my daddy used to go up to deep creek in the mountains of NC (where people would go tubing) and he’d dive around all the falls looking for stuff people dropped out of their pockets when they’d fall out. He found a bunch of stuff but the only thing I remember was a big ol class ring. It’s doing things like that which create fun memories with your family. I miss those days 😭
