It doesnt matter in regards to athleticism. He is using what hes got at very high level. There are more athletic centers that come nowhere near his bball iq and overall skill set. Hes pretty damn good and Id love to have him on the Pacers.

AMAZING handle, scores with ease), Mitchell, Tatum, Brown, Kuzma, Dennis Smith Jr., Ingram, Embiid, not to mention Cousins, Kyrie, Kawhi, and the likes of Ayton, Bamba, Porter Jr., Sexton, ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC. .....

Yeah I'd put Jokic ahead of most of those guys now and hes only 23 so he still has a lot to improve. His playmaking and IQ gives him a higher ceiling than most of the big men on the list. If you think Lonzos amazing, you should also think this guy is amazing, they have similar qualities

Also, a shot has shown to be something that can be improved drastically. Kawhi, Kidd, Wall, Giannis, Brook Lopez, Tony Parker, Frye, etc. etc... Imagine Julius Randle with a consistent jumper. He's already unguardable. Too big for 1-3 and too quick for 4-5. Randle's got more potential than Jokic as well.

I believe Demarcus Cousins is more skilled than Jokic. Jokic is a slightly better passer, is better at catch & shoot. That's it. Scoring wise it's not close imo. Boogie is way better at creating for himself and since he can handle the ball pretty well and has an elite court vision for a big men I'd say he is more skilled than every big men in this league.

Veljko Mijailovic No.. Jokic averaged .7 more assists than Cousins... as Cousins' an amazing passer. All while Cousins *dominates* in any and every other category. Cousins makes his team better. As well as his teammates. He knows when to take over and can do so in any fashion. Though he is a #1 go to player, he also knows when to toss the lob to AD, kick it out to the corner for Moore, hit the cutting Rondo/Holiday, etc. He was also New Orleans best scorer. Ahead of AD. As amazing as AD is and as much a he is a #1 option, Cousins was their most skilled big. Jokic is not Denvers best scoring option. It's Murray and Harris. Cousins is, by far, the most skilled center in the league. He's the most skilled big in the league, the biggest bully in the league and the most valuable center in the league. He's basically an extremely skilled Shaq.
