This dude has always just been a Russ critic because he’s one of those analytics obsessed commentators. You have to actually watch Russ in games to see all his impact, pressure on the rim, defense, transition speed, setting up players for shots. First thing this guy does is pick out mistakes and play a antiRuss reel..like no other players have such happenings.

It's honestly embarassing at this point how much he hates him. At this point just put out a disclaimer you don't like him and don't even make this video if you're going to do a backhanded compliment.

You know he hates Russ because the very first thing he highlighted was the airball layup. Not mentioning that Wemby was in the vicinity. Not mentioning the many intangibles Russ brings. All about percentages, metrics.

Yup this guys is trash, loves the three ball era and analytics driven system. All of which are coming to an end, we’re going to go back to a more balanced game once they realize the viewership is demanding it.

fits well because jokic is a center and russ is a guard. they are both ball dominant in 2 different ways! jokic operates in low and high post. westbrook operates in the fast break and with pick n rolls! this is why they mesh well. jokic doesn’t mess up russ flow and russ can’t mess up jokic flow. this is the perfect point guard center combo. this is the only way russ could have worked with any other team. he couldn’t be on a team with another ball dominant guard!

Russ did work with the clippers before they got harden and put up similar numbers as a starter
@Uwayne0072 күн бұрын
@ facts and since they got another ball handler ball dominant guard like harden, westbrooks numbers started dropping and he became less effective

Russ is having his most efficient season ever and eeally seems to be finding his groove. Him and Joker are just getting acquainted too.

If you're gonna talk about Russ' being so intense and fast and high energy, you can't just focus on the bad. Yes he is out of control and undisciplined at times, but it does contribute positively on defense or even just team energy if you're actually watching the games. Whatever style the players have, there are always pros and cons. If Westbrook is this controlled, shifty, conservative type of player, he won't have this much impact on defense. It's like saying Steph Curry shoots a lot of threes and he needs to learn to be a midrange player like CP3 to become a better player. Not even a Russ fan. Just an observation cause I happened to watch a lot of Denver games this year

Brook Lopez... would have never guessed. I remember years ago complaining on highlight videos of greatest blocks about the unnecessary volleyball spikes, when they could have just grabbed/recovered the ball. It's a good thing players are getting smarter on that.

You know LeBron had a air ball layup this season right , you know it happened to Steph right lol. Who cares

Actually doesn’t matter - everyone blows a lay up here and there. To bring that up after how Russ is playing tells you all you need to know.
@biggringus54992 күн бұрын
nah lol anyone trying to defend Russ crazy misses is smoking crack. the point is, as coach Nick stated, even with that stuff, Russ is actually overall playing well and contributing to winning. so thats the interesting part for me. Russ in the flowing Denver offense is showing his overall game which is still very high level.
@ifailatblackops12 күн бұрын
This is a waste of my time he’s just criticizing Westbrook for the entire video and you can clearly tell that he hasn’t watched even one nuggets game this season.

When Russ took the assignment to guard klay he either passed it to another teammate, missed or his shot got deflected… held Mavs players to 0% when guarded by Russ!!!

All you do is slander Russ is you’re so analytic focused why can’t you just highlight how good he’s playing? I’ve been you fan for probably 5 years and this is one of the things that’s made me gravitate away from your content. Be more impartial

I thought this fit would be fantastic because I trust Jokic IQ and if he asks for you he knows he can use you. However, I did not expect it to be THIS GOOD.

I wasn't a fan but figured that the MVP knows a lot more what Russ can do. And just like you, I knew that this would go well since everyone plays better when they're with Jokić but didn't think I would look like this.

Waste of time, this dude is bias against Russ, don't even bother watching. This dude has probably never played organized sports in his entire life. This wannabe coach with zero basketball skills can't even coach a high school girl's basketball team to save his self and yet he's here posts an hour long video to hate on an Russ when he's actually doing good this year. #hater
