I remembered having a dream where it was like some mario sky level. I seen green pipes sticking out of clouds, spotted linear platforms hovering above the clouds, bullet bills and koopa shells flying all over near the obstacles, and a pipe cannon implanted in a hill shooting out goombas. Everything was so hyper realistic, it was amazing seeing the thing go on as I was watching from ground level, never forget that dream, I just wished I’d stayed a little longer.

So, what I’m getting at if mario falls down to a pit and his body remains in the upside down, which means the opposite of things and creepy stuff. While that mario survives the huge fall discovers a place that nobody else should know even noticing some stuff in there is rotten or decayed. That’s actually awesome. Edit:forgot to mention Luigi so what I’m guessing he had to survive by eating falled down body’s of Mario basically making Luigi a cannibals and which also makes him insane slowly over time, for the fireball I would guess he ate a mario with a fire flower on. That’s how he throws the fire ball.

DukePassMasters Yes, but I don't think this video is meant for a specific version of Mario :-P Though if it is, if I remember correctly, SMW is the only game where the Lakitu Cloud doesn't disappear (though only if you use a fireball to kill Lakitu, then collect the cloud). But then again, I haven't played all of the games, so I might be wrong about that :-P Though in Super Mario 3, which is the tileset they used in the video is from, you couldn't ride Lakitu Cloud's at all except when you got it as a powerup from a chest, in which you could skip the level. But on the other hand, in that game the cloud in that game falls down with Lakitu when Lakitu is killed, so I guess that would explain why it fell down there like that.

I prefer to think that's what all those glaring eyes were, Yoshis. Simply watching, from afar, not sure whether to follow their innate sense of loyalty and help their companion whom they believe in helping, eternally, even after death, or to let suffer for all the neglect, all those minuscule jump-boosts, and countless walking into enemies for the mere perception of invincibility which likely put them in the hell they dwell in now. And in their indecisiveness, they merely stand in the shadows, spectating, with no further sense of purpose or direction, truly hollowed and fragmented like the Yoshi eggs that bore them.

Except Mario’s escape was all an illusion from the bad mushroom he ingested, hence the immediate appearace of the enemies immediately after it “hits” him in the eyes. He never actually made it out of there. Nobody makes it out of Underworld.
