Nuke Compositing: Colour Grade Matching - Nuke Gizmo

*This is my first real video so please understand that I am a little nervous while talking - hopefully I'll get better in the future*
*Also i have a cold at the moment so excuse sniffles*
This is an overview of my Colour Grade matcher; Nuke Gizmo.
I give an overview and short demo of the tool and how to use it.

i cant use the V2.2 it says "GW_Gradehelper_V2: Unknown command" but the V2.0 works (nuke 15)

i'd be very careful about the colour map use for reference .. for ex .. if you have a blue light from a screen, it will show all blue on your actor .. however that light would never affect the background to any visible extent .. adding blue to the BG in that context would be a false positive :)

Hey Mihai. Thanks for the comment. It's a great point and I do agree. You have to be careful what you match to. On the full write up on how to use the helper on my website I do caution that very thing and not blindly matching the colours 😀 the idea of the gizmo is that it's an aid, a helper. There's never a substitute for the artist 😉
