I was on stream when this build was first being worked on. It's been so much fun to use (Equinox also does a pretty similar thing with Terrify and Maim, but without the stat stick). Also, the music change at 25:14 is just perfect.

Don't forget you can also put her 2, with the 90% DR, on allies and defense objectives.

For the new melee arcanes, the only choice is Exposure. It actually gives damage to her 1 because it adds 240% corrosive damage to her stat stick, which is applied at all times and not just to melee strikes.

Shattered storm is also a strange but fun augment that turns her into a super blender. and it makes it so enemy intense zones are safer for squads b/c allies can be near enemies affected and gain a 70%+ damage resistance. it also does 35%+ damage vulnerability on enemies.

@@AnonymousB0ss no the 2nd ability itself does that, it doesn't JUST boost gara's defense when she casts in on herself. it makes tenno inside the glass shard's radii get the DR bonus as well. on top of making melee attackers suffer the vulnerability. usually you'll only notice the DR when Gara casts the 2nd ability on your frame specifically. The Augment casts your 2nd on ANY enemy hit by her 4th's exploding glass. ie allies in melee range to those affected get DR.

@@Leviathis_Krade You misunderstand how Splinter Storm [2] works. If cast on an ally, they get the damage reduction. If cast on an enemy, that specific enemy gets the damage amplification. The shard storm simply deals damage, no additional effects and doesn't extend the DR/DA to other entities within its range. The augment only causes Mass Vitrify [4]'s blast to apply Splinter Storm [2] to enemies (not allies). It also applies it at base strength (as if you had directly cast [2] on them individually). It doesn't take into account your accumulated value on Gara herself.

I feel it’s worth considering that since the range of the explosion is 40 meters from the wall and terrify is 40 meters from you, enemies affected will always be in range of the explosion and for them to run far enough away from you, they need to run presumably at least as far away from your wall as you were from your wall when you cast terrify. Seems unlikely they will ever get far enough away.

Gara's just really strong generally. I've got a build on Gara P which has more duration and str than your preferred build, but less range and efficiency and it still slaps in SP. I might add an alternate build closer to this for the wide-range fun, though, had one like that on Gara for a while and just never bothered recreating it on Gara P. This vid will be really great for those getting Gara P for the first time through Tennocon. She's a blast.

Arcane Energize replacement I'd personally recommend is Arcane Blessing. It grants you extra health as you stack it with health orbs up to a max of 1,200 extra health. Combined with the 90% damage mitigation from her [2], that gives her a ton of survivability. She has no innate sustain, so that's a really big deal for her, helps keep her alive between health orbs. Since the build showcased in this video doesn't really care about what focus school you choose, Vazarin would be a good option. Its utility passive lets you hop into Operator, go Void Mode for 5 seconds, which puts a 50 health per second regen on your frame for 60 seconds. An alternative to Vazarin focus school, is either Magus Nourish or Magus Repair. Both of these also grant you a way to heal your frame via Operator. This requires a lot more investment to obtain, however, due to being arcanes. They're both just shop purchased though.

Creeping Terrify is pretty damn nice on Titania imo. Because she's so single target focused she can get swarmed. Terrify however not only armor strips but also eliminates the threat of being shot entirely. Also means she can forgo some power strength in favor of other stats due to not needing to pump damage numbers to overpower armor.

Hmm, good suggestion. I've been using Pillage Titania for awhile now and I did notice that I would struggle with huge groups if they focused on me, despite all the extra damage reduction from the Boreal set and stuff. Need to try this.

I tend to favor the naramon way of this build with nourish as the subsume (energy sustain and elemental damage boost) and the Rauta to build combo, keeping the 12x up constantly. Using any of the archon Contempt weapons (dual dagger, polearm or whips) with a high riven dispo as the stat stick. (way more accessable and cheaper to buy in) Also I tend to use her augment Shattered Storm in higher level steelpath, as it allows for extra CC and a damage vulnerability 35% times strength for teammates or the wall afterwards to benefit.

I've been loving the Proboscis Cernos on her combined with the Praedos and that one perk that gives 5 combo count when picking up ammo. Makes it real easy to keep 12x up constantly (bow weapons don't need to reload so you can just keep picking up ammo whenever you shoot) AND the weapon has a 9 meters pull radius, making it easy to just jump into a horde of enemies that managed to survive the Proboscis's blast and shred them with her 2nd ability. Her 1st ability can actually one-shot a lot of base SP enemies at 12x with a good mod build on the Praedos + Roar, so that's another way to play. Eclipse is better when it comes to quickly stacking the damage on her Splinter Storm, but it makes you need to keep an eye on the light. Wanted to make Gara as easy to use as possible, so I chose Roar.

Pretty cool vid, may dust off my Gara some, kinda missed her really cx However, I do have somethings to add. I get that it's a video mainly directed for newerer or fresher players so there is no point in boring them about deeper mechanics like difference between slash and puncture for stat stick mods and such but could be advised to mention why you prefer the swipe of her 1 instead of the bolt, aka, why you recommend inverting the ability. But most importantly, you forgot to mention that you start with 76% reduction on her 2 with this build and you need to refresh it once you stack up molt augmented for the 90% you mentioned

Just build normal duration then, anything level 50 or below is probably gonna die anyway since it's all baby mode, this is for SP so you don't need this for baseline game play that's the whole point

Gara is the perfect example to show off just how dumb the "Grineer are the hardest faction" crowd is. Yeah, Grineer are the tankiest - they're also the most susceptible to CC abilities like Mass Vitrify Watch all the new players take this build against Corpus or Corrupted, have all the Nullifiers (and enemies that happen to be in the bubbles with them) survive and proceed to fold them into grasshoppers. This is assuming they don't try and max the explosion distance and have the ability cancelled by enemies they haven't seen yet. Not saying Gara can't handle these enemies, but only showcasing what she can do against the faction that is basically as easy to kill as the Infested, it just takes longer, is at best, only reporting half the story.

I'm not sure what ability it was but I had an absurd aura on an arbitration survival and was COMPLETELY unkillable I don't even use a stat stick (just a paracesis heavy build) and this aura that buffed melee damage was giving me as much as you without combo. (TLDR try this with a damage boosting ally!)

I have only one complaint about Gara, and that is that her [1] has shorter range than her [4] (if you let the [4] expand to its full range). So if you want to absolutely max the total explosion area of her [4], you have to move forward a little (like 2-3 meters) before you smack the wall with your [1]. It's a minor complaint, but it gets _real_ annoying over time. Ultimately though, nuke Gara is super boring. I really want to see some interesting assault trooper builds for her, to really play into her knightly theme. She's such a cool frame, but everyone just makes the easy nuke builds for her and lets her overall design go to waste.

Pillage doesn't go through walls like Terrify does. Pillage is a line of sight ability. Hence why he went with Terrify as it hits through walls :)

I notice that, because he wanted to lower the investment cost of this build for all the people getting Gara for free, there are no archon shards. I gave her (regular) shards for casting speed and duration, and three for strength. This let me replace augur secrets and augur message with splintered storm and streamline. With max efficiency and my rank 1 energize I don't have energy issues except occasionally at the start of the mission, so I switched to Naramon. Now I'm not sure what weapon would work best. Would it make sense - or even work - to add flat crit chance and crit damage? Would flat crit and status chance from an incarnon genesis let you crit and proc slash?

I modified the mag build by dropping adaptation and adding umbral intensify and a single cast of crush with the augment strips all armor from enemies using just one tau forged crimson shard (may not need to be tau forged) this is before molt augmented comes into play so it's not really needed but more strength is always good

Honestly I feel like Madurai is lacking compared to the rest of the focus schools. Aside from eidolons that is. Naramon is great for melee and it’s 1 can let you kill sp enemies in the hundreds with your amp. Naramon is kinda a vibe. Unairu is good but there’s already so much armor stripping that it isnt necessary usually.

Pillage doesn't work through walls. Since the nuke works through walls, it's more convenient to use terrify, which also works through walls.

It's important to not that although Archon Vitality's text says it "doubles heat procs" it only actually adds an additional 1. So if the ability procs 2, it's going to proc 3 instead. I tried it on Voruna and was very disappointed. Citrine, Hildryn and Mesa love it though.

@@caryroberts6748 if it's a gara nuke build, I wouldn't bother with Archon Vitality unless you intend to run a health mod anyway. Gara also doesn't really need healing, and I've found dedicating a whole mod just to healing to be a bit weak myself.

@@Doc_Paradox Adding to this, since Corpus don't have armor they just evaporate to a slight breeze of damage anyways. There's a reason (good) showcases are always done against Grineer, the other factions are all a joke by comparison.

@@hexerin tbf a lot of the newer robotics have armor or shield gating plus nullies force you to adjust which is more than I can say about the clem crew. If you wanna talk about a dog water faction just look at 1 hr steel path infested getting memed by a mk1 braton with no mods. If anything the only faction in the game worth opening your eyes to fight is the sents. Between their tiny weak points, resistances, heavy armor, and insane dmg its the only faction ive had to pay attention to when fighting.

As much as ceramic is good for this , I still Prefer skana / Nani solo for the plus crit and status makes her 1 a nuke in its own without armour strip haha Remember her passive will also periodically blind enemies , even their / your explosions can trigger it
