A basic look at creating projections in Nuke to allow you to spatially manipulate your footage. Once you've established your projections you gain quite a bit of flexibility and power in working with your footage for adding VFX.

I was desperate to see the clip play - it looks fine for a still frame but what happens when the camera moves around the cube? Does it require anything different to the paintwork should it be a moving shot?

Lee Watson somewhat different, yes. You need a very good track of the move and can then use multiple camera angles to paint up your textures. It’s additional complexity but the base concepts remain
